Women’s Golf Readies For AAC Championship At Pinehurst No. 6

CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's golf team returns to action on Sunday with the start of the 2021 American Athletic Conference Championship at Pinehurst No. 6 in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
 
The tournament runs from April 18-20, 2021 with all 10 AAC teams playing one 18-hole round each day in stroke play following the five-count-four scoring format.

THE COURSE
Pinehurst No. 6 was designed by George and Tom Fazio and first opened in 1979, with Tom Fazio redesigning the layout in 2005. The course will play at a par-72, 6,290 yards during the American Women's Golf Championship.
 
THE FIELD
The Bearcats square off against student-athletes from East Carolina, No. 20 Houston, Memphis, SMU, Tulane, Tulsa, No. 31 UCF, USF and Wichita State.
 
PAIRINGS
The teams will play as twosomes and the Bearcats are paired with student-athletes from Wichita State in the opening round.
 
Masterson leads the team off at 10:40 a.m. ET, followed by Pan (10:48 a.m.), Lopez (10:56 a.m.), Manrique (11:04 a.m.) and Hallinan (11:12 a.m.).
