Women’s Golf Shoots Best Round On Final Day Of AAC Championship

PINEHURST, N.C. – The University of Cincinnati women's golf team shot its best round of the tournament as it wrapped up play at the 2021 American Athletic Conference Championship in Pinehurst, North Carolina Tuesday.

PINEHURST, N.C. – The University of Cincinnati women's golf team shot its best round of the tournament as it wrapped up play at the 2021 American Athletic Conference Championship in Pinehurst, North Carolina Tuesday.
 
The Bearcats finished with a team total of 948 following their two-shot improvement with their final-round 310. UC finished in ninth place overall. Tulsa won the team title by three strokes over Houston while East Carolina's Dorthea Forbrigd took individual medalist honors.
 
Individually for the Bearcats, Katie Hallinan wrapped up her first AAC Championship in a tie for 28th place following a final-round 79. Angela Lopez had UC's best round of the day, a 4-over-par 76 to card a tie for 37th. 
 
Sadie Pan was one shot behind Lopez in a group tied for 38th with a 54-hole score of 238. Vanessa Manrique and Paighton Masterson both tied for 45th position with a total of 244.
