Zach Segal went the distance for UC, evening his record at 3-3 on the year. He struck out five and didn't walk anyone while giving up six hits and a pair of runs.

Much like game one, Cole Harting scored in the first after singling the first pitch into right field and coming home on Eric Santiago's belt to right for the early 1-0 lead.

Deondre Bremner starting a four-run rally in the second with a 1-out double. Tanner Holen was hit by a pitch and Harting hit an RBI single through the right side to score Bremner. Jace Mercer hit his second homer of the day to right field and UC led 5-1.

Holen led off the fourth with a single and later scored on Bellini's single up the middle. Santiago and Komistek followed to make it three RBI singles in-a-row which scored Mercer and Bellini, respectively, and the Bearcats led 8-1.

Griffin Merritt had an RBI ground out in the sixth which scored Santiago and Bellini closed things out in the seventh after Holen was hit by a pitch and Harting walked, setting up the game-ending homer to right.
