CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's basketball program added AnnaKathryn Prestridge to its support staff as the director of basketball operations.
She comes to UC after spending six seasons working with the Auburn Tigers women's basketball program. For the last year and a half she served as a graduate assistant, working with the Director of Operations on coordinating team travel and events as well as other daily administrative tasks. She was also tasked with oversight of the student managers day-to-day operations and duties.
"I am beyond excited to be joining the Cincinnati Women's Basketball program," Prestridge said. "This opportunity is the culmination of many years of preparation, and I cannot express how grateful I am to Coach Heard and the staff for trusting me to be a part of their family. Go Bearcats!"
Prior to being a GA, she was a student manager for the Tigers for four and a half years, providing support in all facets of the program. She oversaw practice, assisted with game day and travel operations, team camps, and assisted coaches and staff with various day-to-day administrative and organizational tasks.
Originally from Auburn, Alabama, she graduated from Auburn University in 2019 with a degree in Business Management and a minor in Human Resource Management. She is currently working on her masters degree in Higher Education Administratin from Auburn.
Prestridge was a four year letter winner in softball and basketball att Auburn High School.
