TicketsEUGENE, Ore. - Caisja Chandler's bid for the 100 meter and 200 meter finals comes up short on day two of the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
Racing first in the third heat of the 100 meter semifinals, Chandler crossed the finish line at 11.57 and finished in 19th place.
An hour later, she raced in the second heat of the 200 meter semifinals, crossing the finish line in 23.26 and earning a spot on the All-America second team. She capped the event 14th in the event's final standings.
Chandler's season is not done as she qualified to compete at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials in the 200 meter dash and will come back to Eugene to race on June 24th, 2021.
