TicketsCINCINNATI -- The University of Cincinnati lacrosse team continued its academic prowess with 10 honor-roll selections and a team award from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA).
It also marks the seventh time in head coach Gina Thomas' nine years the squad has earned such distinction. Qualifying teams must have a 3.2 GPA or better, while individuals must be a junior, senior or graduate student with a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or better.
The squad was also one of five at UC to earn Team Academic Excellence accolades from the AAC, boasting 32 individual honorees as well. This summer also saw Thomas elected as the IWLCA's Vice Presidentand one of five on its Board of Directors.
