CINCINNATI - The No. 7/8 University of Cincinnati football team hits the the road for the first time this season when they head to South Bend, Indiana to face off against the University of Notre Dame on October 2nd at 2:30 p.m. ET. This is the first meeting between the Bearcats and the Irish since 1900.

CINCINNATI - The No. 7/8 University of Cincinnati football team hits the the road for the first time this season when they head to South Bend, Indiana to face off against No. 9 University of Notre Dame on October 2nd at 2:30 p.m. ET. This is the first meeting between the Bearcats and the Irish since 1900.

The game will air on NBC.

ABOUT THE BEARCATS
The Bearcats start the 2021 season 3-0 after wins over Miami OH and Murray State at home and Indiana on the road. Cincinnati finished 9-1 in 2020, winning the American Athletic Conference Championship and playing in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, a New Year's Six Bowl. The Bearcats return 16 starters from last season's squad, including 2020 AAC Player of the Year Desmond Ridder and seven-time All-America selection Ahmad Gardner along with All-AAC selections Darrian BeaversMarcus BrownCoby BryantMyjai SandersTre TuckerJosh Whyle and Michael Young Jr. The 2021 roster projects to have nearly 40 local players who grew up and played high-school football in the tri-state area.
