Joey Ferreri has been elevated to associate head coach and assistant coach Scott Fortier. will also serve as director of recruiting for the men's program. Michelle Hille has joined the program as an assistant coach and director of recruiting for the women's team. Mark Murdock was tabbed as the Bearcats diving head coach.
Disalle, the 2018 and 2019 American Athletic Conference Men's Swimming Coach of the Year, starts her eighth year at the helm of the program and 12th on staff at UC.
Ferreri swam at UC from 2013-2015. and enters his seventh season on the coaching staff. Fortier joined the program in 2019 and starts his third year with the Bearcats.
Hille comes to UC after two seasons as an assistant coach at IUPUI. During her time with the Jaguars, she coached swimmers to 15 school records, 198 personal-best times and helped mentor Emma Theobald in the 400 IM where she won the 2021 Horizon League crown, the first individual to do so in team history. Hille also spent time at Findlay and was a swim-camp coach at Georgia, Indiana and Virginia.
Hille graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Brenau University in Gainsville, Ga., while also swimming at the school. At Brenau, she was a nine-time NAIA All-American, including a four-time All-American as a senior, finishing in the top-three in the 100 Butterfly, 100 Breaststroke, 200 Medley Relay and 400 Medley Relay. She also helped Brenau to an Appalachian Swimming Conference Championship finishing in the top three in three individual events and three relay events."I am excited for Michelle to join our coaching staff," DiSalle said. "She is a very talented coach who has made an impact on all of the programs she has been a part of. I am excited to watch her grow as a coach at Cincinnati and help continue to push us to the next level. As our Director of Women's Recruiting, Michelle is will be able to help continue to develop our team and make an impact on current and future Bearcats."

Murdock joins the Bearcats staff after six seasons coaching the divers at North Texas. While with the Mean Green, Murdock showed a knack for developing divers into conference meet scorers and school record setters, led by Meghan Miller, who was an NCAA Zone D qualifier and finished in the Top-4 at the Conference USA Championship as a senior.
"Mark brings a great deal of experience to our diving team," DiSalle said. "I am excited for him to take over our diving program and bring us to the next level on the boards. He is extremely knowledgeable about the sport and has great ideas to identify and develop top talent. I am looking forward to the impact he will have on our program."
Prior to UNT, Murdock coached at Northern Colorado for three seasons where he coached three NCAA Zone Diving Qualifiers and was named the 2015 Western Athletic Conference diving coach of the year and coached the conference diver of the year in Savanna Meadows.
The native of Flower Mound, Texas dove at Wyoming, where he received his bachelor's degree in social science in May, 2012, and spent his final year with the Cowboys as the volunteer assistant coach.
