CINCINNATI - University of Cincinnati freshman Abby Walker earned American Athletic Conference (AAC) Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week for her offensive performances over the weekend. This is the second AAC weekly award of her young career, as she also earned a spot on the AAC Weekly Honor Roll on Sept. 27.
In the Bearcats' two matches this weekend against Memphis and SMU, Walker had 40 points and 25 kills between the two contests. In the win against Memphis, Walker had 15 kills and career-highs in blocks (7), service aces (5) and points (20). She followed that performance up with 10 kills, four service aces and 15 more points in the win over SMU.
