TicketsPORT CLINTON, Ohio -- Sadie Pan earned her highest-career finish by coming in fifth, and the Cincinnati women's golf team did the same in the Rocket Classic.
Pan matches Katie Hallinan's season-opener at the Pirate Collegiate Classic as the team's top performer this season. Her first two rounds Monday were both career-lows as well. Makenna Jones' 77 was the best of her season.
UC also had the third-best score among par-threes.
"Today was a day about the future of this program," head coach Janet Carl said. "The team played in some windy conditions and it was frustrating them. We have prepped for the conditions but it shows we need some work. We have a very short turnaround so we need to utilize our practice times to strengthen some areas. On a high note, Sadie had a top-five finish as well as our team."
The Bearcats have the privilege of returning to action the following Monday-Wednesday for the Ozarks National Invitational at Missouri State.
