CINCINNATI -- The University of Cincinnati women's golf team is set for its next challenge, the Ozarks National Invitational in Hollister, Mo.
The three-day event will be hosted by Missouri State and also features Creighton, Central Arkansas, Murray State, Northern Iowa, Indiana State, Southern Illinois, Wichita State, Arkansas State, Toledo, Ball State, Middle Tennessee and Oral Roberts.
It is the Bearcats' first three-day tourney of the season after having three over last spring. One of those, the EKU Colonel Classic, saw it post its highest finish of the season (fourth), where Katie Hallinan also had the best of any Bearcat (second and three-under).
For this tournament, Cincinnati will send out Hallinan, Sadie Pan, Paighton Masterson, Erin Evans and Julia Rabadam.
Hallinan remains the team leader with a 76.75 stroke average. Pan is coming off her best tournament in which she carded a 227 to tie for fifth. Evans is competing in her second, with the other being the two-day Courtney Cole Invitational from Oct. 4-5. Masterson has also made a habit this season of finishing strong, as her final round in each of the three tournaments this season were her lowest.
