SCOUTING THE BEARCATS
- Dating back to their Sept. 4 victory over Notre Dame, the Bearcats have won 10 out of their last 12 games.
- UC is the only remaining team in the American Athletic Conference (AAC) with an undefeated record at home. They are 4-0 at Fifth Third Arena.
- Maria Mallon was named to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll for her performance this past weekend. She totaled 42 kills, 37 kills and her 100th career service ace in two matches.
- Mallon leads the team with 259.5 total points and 221 kills. She is also second on the team with 240 digs. She is ranked sixth in the conference with 3.40 kills per set and ninth in digs per set with 3.69.
- Abby Walker (204.5) and Shannon Williams (186.5) have the second and third most points on the year for the Bearcats. Williams has posted 10 or more kills in 11 out of 16 games this season. In her young career, Walker has already been named the AAC Offensive Player of the Week as well as being named to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll.
- Payton Frederick leads the Bearcats with 247 digs. She ranks seventh in the AAC with 3.86 digs per set.
- Cincinnati has outscored its opponents 1,099-990.5 so far through 16 games.
- The Bearcats lead the AAC with 13.06 assists per set and 13.82 kills per set, and are third in digs with 16.08 per set.

- Houston is 16-4 (6-2 AAC) on the year. They went 1-1 this past weekend, losing to SMU, 1-3, and beating Memphis, 3-0.

- Houston ranks second in the AAC in blocks per set with 2.35 and first in opponent hitting percentage, limiting he opposition to just 0.175.
- Abbie Jackson is the leader offensively, totaling 361.5 points and 304 kills on the year. Her 3.87 kills per set is tied for second in the conference.
- Rachel Tullos is the blocks-leader on the team, averaging 1.23 per set. She is second in the league in that category.
- Setter Annie Cook ranks second in the AAC with 9.94 assists per set.
- UC leads the all-time series against Houston 14-8. UC won the last matchup 3-2, which was played on Oct. 20, 2019. The Bearcats are on an eight-game win streak in the series, with their last loss coming on Nov. 16, 2014.
