TicketsCINCINNATI -- The University of Cincinnati women's golf team maintained its eighth-place standing through the second day of the Ozarks National Invitational.
Julia Rabadam was able to cut her score by three strokes, with everyone collecting a birdie apiece.Katie Hallinan climbed a spot in the standings and is now matched with Paighton Masterson for the team-lead with an 8-over 152.
"Today's conditions proved to be tough on top of the mountain today," head coach Janet Carl said. "Unfortunately, we got behind from the start of the round and it seemed like all players struggled through the first six holes. It will be important for the team to get off to a good start tomorrow and keep some momentum going through all 18 holes."
The Bearcats will complete their first three-day tourney Wednesday, with their lowest final-round score to date a 305 at the Pirate Collegiate Classic. Live scoring is available via BirdieFire.com.
