TicketsCINCINNATI -- The University of Cincinnati women's golf team gained ground on the final day of the Crosstown Shootout, but ultimately fell 11-7 for the weekend match play event.
Sunday's action was held at Losantiville Country Club, the Bearcats' home course, after Saturday's was at Maketewah Country Club. Sadie Pan earned a win for the second-straight round, while Erin Evans, Julia Rabadam, Katie Hallinan and Alexis Daniel also emerged victorious.
"I'm proud of the effort and fight this team put up today," head coach Janet Carl said. "It was good to win the day at our home course, but it was too much to overcome from yesterday. We're hoping that we can somehow continue this annual tradition. We have a short turnaround this week as we head to Mercer on Saturday."
The Bearcats conclude their fall season Nov. 8-9 in Macon, Ga. at the Brickyard Collegiate.
