CINCINNATI - University of Cincinnati women's basketball head coach Michelle Clark-Heard and sophomore guard Jillian Hayes both spoke to the media prior to the home exhibition matchup against Findlay University on Wednesday, November 3rd at 7 p.m.

This is the first opportunity to see the 2021-22 team in action. The exhibition matchup is free and open to the public. Doors open one hour prior to tip-off at 6 p.m. The game will not be streamed. 

The Bearcats recently traveled to Bloomington, Ind. for a closed door scrimmage against Indiana University. Coach Heard and Hayes both talk about what they learned about the team in the matchup and what excites them heading into the start of the 2021-22 season.

ABOUT THE BEARCATS
UC's 2021-22 roster includes seven returning players and eight new faces. 2021 AAC All-Freshman Team memberr Jillian Hayes returns alongside seniors Arame Niang and Nesma Khalifa and juniors Jada ScottJadyn ScottSofia Gritzali, and Caitlyn Wilson. The Bearcats finished the 2020-21 season 8-16 and look to emulate the back-to-back 20-win seasons from 2018-2020. Head coach Michelle Clark-Heard heads into her fourth season with the Bearcats.

SEASON TICKETS ON SALE 
2021-22 women's basketball tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by calling the Cincinnati Bearcats Ticket Office at 1-877-CATS-TIX or online by clicking here. Season ticket packages are $50 for adult general admission and $30 for youth (ages 4-12), seniors (age 65+), faculty/staff, and the military. The Champions Club is available for all ages for just $70 (ages 3 and under don't need a ticket).

CORPORATE TICKET PACKAGES FOR CROSSTOWN SHOOTOUT
Local businesses and organizations can support the Bearcats by purchasing a corporate ticket package for the home matchup against Xavier University on Sunday, December 12. Reward your employees or thank your best clients by bringing them out to 5/3rd this season. Groups may also choose to donate to a local non-profit organization or youth group, as well as donate them back to UC for distribution.
