CINCINNATI -- University of Cincinnati head men's golf coach Doug Martin has welcomed four signees in November for the 2022-23 roster.

"The class of 2022 excites me," Martin said. "The class brings in a wealth of junior golf experience at the highest level. We have three top-100 players signed for the first time in school history. As their coach, I relish this opportunity to help them grow in every aspect of their life over the next four years. The future is very bright for our program."

Martin says he also intends to add one more signee in the spring.

Jackson Finney (Louisville, Ky./St. Xavier HS)
  • First-Team and Second-Team All-State honors in Kentucky during his career
  • Three tournament wins, as well as one with AJGA
  • Top-60 recruit in his class
  • Four-year letterwinner
"I chose Cincinnati because of the coaches, teammates and the direction the program and university is moving in."

Ryan Ford (Westfield, Ind./Cathedral HS)
  • Ranked No. 167 nationally
  • Two-time sectional champion, as well as a regional and city crown
  • 3.5 GPA, honor roll student
"I chose UC because I felt that Coach Martin and the UC golf program could benefit me the most towards my future in golf."

Harrison Sims (Birmingham, Ala./Homewood HS)
  • Member of winning Team Alabama at 2021 Southern Junior Cup
  • Fifth-ranked player in Alabama
  • 2021 Alabama Golf Association Second-Team All-State
  • Round of 16 Alabama Men's State Match Play
  • Finished 10th out of 230 at 2021 Future Masters
  • Scored 31 on ACT (32 super-score) and is an Eagle Scout and member of Beta Club, National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta

  • Inducted into Golfweek Junior Tour Hall of Fame in 2021
  • Boasts a 4.029 GPA
