CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's basketball team travels to Columbus, Ohio to face off against No. 21/24 Ohio State Saturday, November 27th at the Covelli Center. Tip off is at 6 p.m. ET.

THE SERIES
Ohio State leads the overall series 21-4 and 11-1 in Columbus. The last time they faced each other was November 13th, 2019 in Cincinnati where the Bearcats and Buckeyes took the game into a thrilling overtime. UC used a 9-3 run over the final five minutes of the fourth quarter to force overtime,the score 62-62. In the extra period, the Bearcats took a one-point lead with 2:49 to go, but saw the Buckeyes end the game on a 10-4 run to put away the home team, 78-73.

SCOUTING THE BEARCATS 
The Bearcats are 3-2 on the season with wins over Alabama A&M, Bellarmine and Western Carolina. 

Last time out, UC forced a season-high 23 turnovers to edge Western Carolina, 46-45 and earn their third win on the season. Junior Akira Levy led the way with nine points, three rebounds, seven assists and four steals. Freshman Braylyn Milton had a new season and career high nine points, all in the second half, and added one rebound and one block.

Levy currently leads the AAC in steals (19) and ranks 6th in the NCAA. Sophomore Jillian Hayes leads the AAC in blocked shots (9) and is ranked 44th in the NCAA. Levy and Hayes are each averaging double figures this season with 12.2 and 11.0 ppg, respectively.

SCOUTING THE BUCKEYES
No. 21/24 Ohio State starts the season 4-0 with wins over Bucknell, Norfolk State, Bowling Green, and Bellarmine. 

Last time out against Bellarmine, the Buckeyes' offense broke the Big Ten record for most points in any half and most points in the first half as they scored 70 before halftime. OSU also set a program record for most points scored in the second quarter (39). OSU won the game 110-58.

The Buckeyes return two players who earned all-conference accolades during the 2020-21 season.
