Pendergast Earns ITA National Ranking for Fall Season

CINCINNATI - University of Cincinnati freshman Elizabeth Pendergast earned a no. 121 national ranking by the International Tennis Association on Dec. 8th for her fall performances.

CINCINNATI - University of Cincinnati freshman Elizabeth Pendergast earned a no. 121 national ranking by the International Tennis Association on Dec. 8th for her fall performances.

Pendergast, who hails from Saint Ursula Academy, finished the fall with a 9-1 record in singles and  4-1 record in doubles.

At the Pam Whitehead Invitational Sept. 16-17, Pendergast went 3-0 in singles and 1-0 doubles marking a perfect 4-0 weekend for the freshman.

At the Xavier Invitational Sept. 25-26, she was named the singles most valuable player of the tournament after a dominant 3-0 weekend. She also went 3-0 in doubles play. 

At the USTA/ITA Regionals, she finished 1-1 in singles play and 1-0 in consolation singles play, while also going 0-1 doubles action.
