JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Katie Hallinan and Sadie Pan led the way for the Cincinnati women's golf team, which finished 15th in its spring-opening, San Jose Intercollegiate.

Hallinan saw her fourth, top-15 finish of the season, with the other three also being in the top-five. Pan has finished in the top-40 in five of six tournaments this season.

"The weather was good this morning and then the winds picked up again," head coach Janet Carl said. "We learned a lot about what we need to work on the next few weeks. It looks like we have a bit of a break in the weather the next few weeks. It is key to get out on some grass and hit shots on a course. Our short game needs some work, but that is not surprising since we had not been able to get on grass before this week. We're ready to get back and get to work."

The Bearcats' best round came in the second, a resumption from Monday's darkness-suspended play. No. 67 Campbell claimed the tourney title by 19 strokes.

UC will take off for a few weeks before returning to Jacksonville for the UNF Intercollegiate, March 7-8.
