Complete 2022 Schedule
CINCINNATI – A home matchup against Indiana, a quick trip to Paul Brown Stadium, a season-opening game at Arkansas and back-to-back road games at SMU and UCF highlight Cincinnati football's 2022 schedule, which was released by the American Athletic Conference on Thursday.
The Bearcats will also unofficially kick off the 2022 season with the annual Spring Game on April 9 at Nippert Stadium (Time: TBD).
UC's bye weekend will be Oct. 15.
Cincinnati, which holds the nation's second-longest home winning streak (27 games), will host six games at Nippert Stadium in 2022, beginning with the home opener against Kennesaw State (Sept. 10) before welcoming Big Ten opponent, Indiana (Sept. 24), two weeks later. Cincinnati defeated the preseason Top 20-ranked Hoosiers in Bloomington, Ind., in 2021 to help jumpstart last season's school-record 13-win season.
UC will welcome USF for Homecoming (Oct. 8) and Navy (Nov. 5) before hosting East Carolina for a Friday night game (Nov. 11). Cincinnati will close out the regular season with Tulane (Nov. 25 or Nov. 26).
The Bearcats open the season on Sept. 3 at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium to face Arkansas in what will be Cincinnati's first regular season game against a Southeastern Conference opponent since traveling to Knoxville to battle Tennessee in 2011 and the first ever matchup with the Razorbacks.
UC will face Miami (Ohio) on Sept. 17 for the 126th Battle for the Victory Bell at Paul Brown Stadium. The Redhawks will serve as the hosts for this season's annual rivalry series, which is tied 59-59-7 all-time.
Cincinnati will start AAC play at Tulsa on Oct. 1 and square off at SMU (Oct. 22) and UCF (Oct. 29) in consecutive weekends following a bye. The Bearcats' final road trip of the regular season comes at Temple (Nov. 19).
The American Football Championship will be on Dec. 3.
