It's a wear black game as the team celebrates equity and inclusion. The coaching staff will wear equal sign pins and the team will also wear black jerseys.
The athletics department will host a 50th season celebration event tied in with the game. Former players, coaches and staff will be in attendance and honored throughout the game. For tickets, you can call the ticket office at 1-877-CATS-TIX or visit the website here. Anyone who purchases a ticket will also receive a 15% off promo code to spend on the Fanatics website. The promo code will be emailed following the game.
The first 500 fans in attendance will receive a 50th season shirt, thanks to Meijer.

THE SERIES
ECU leads the overall series 11-9 while Cincinnati has a 5-4 advantage in Fifth Third Arena .
Last time out, the Bearcats fell to ECU on the road in Greenville, N.C. 71-48. Braylyn Milton led the team with nine points, Jillian Hayes led with 10 rebounds and the team recorded a total of 10 blocks in the game.
SCOUTING THE BEARCATS
Cincinnati is 10-14 overall and 3-9 in American Athletic Conference action. The Bearcats have lost four straight and are looking to rebound back into the win column.
Last time out, UC fell to South Florida, 54-45, on the road Wednesday night. Junior point guard Akira Levy led the Bearcats with 11 points, five rebounds and four assists in 37 minutes of play. Junior guard Caitlyn Wilson and sophomore guard Jillian Hayes both added eight points while the Bearcats outshot the Bulls from the three-point line, shooting 43% to their 29%.
Sophomore guard Jillian Hayes leads the team in points (290), points per game (12.1), field goals made a game (4.0), free throws made (96), rebounds (167) and blocks (32). Junior forward Caitlyn Wilson leads the team in three point shots (51) and three point shots a game (2.1). while junior point guard Akira Levy leads in assists (122) and is tied in steals with Hayes with 53
Cincinnati is second in the AAC and is 20th in the NCAA in blocked shots with 120 and at the top of the AAC averaging 5.0 a game.
SCOUTING THE PIRATESECU'S two game win streak came to end following a 67-55 loss to Houston on the road Wednesday night. Taniyah Thompson recorded 28 points in 40 minutes of play. It was the fourth straight game of at least 20 points for Thompson as she finished with 28, her second streak of at least four such games this season. She has also scored at least 10 points in 15 straight games, the longest streak since Jada Payne went 17 in 2015-16. Synia Johnson finished with seven steals, a career-high and the most by a Pirate since Dominique Claytor recorded seven against Cincinnati on Feb. 24, 2021.
Thompson is second in the conference in scoring, averaging 18.2 points a game. Tylar Bennett has an AAC-best 50 blocks this year. Bennett already holds the ECU single-season record for blocks in AAC games, having swatted 37 in 11 conference games, and she is eighth overall in single-season blocks, needing four more to pass Ondrea Shaw for fifth all-time
As a team, ECU is No. 1 in blocked shots (122) and forced turnovers (22.32), third in offensive rebounds per game (15.2) and second in steals per game (10.9.)
