FOR THE SEASON
Cincinnati had a season-high 39 shots in the opener at Marquette and will look to get back on track after 32 and 24 the next two contests against Ohio State and Michigan. Opponents are still only out-shooting the Bearcats 105-95. Eight of UC's 29 goals have been on free-positions. Kylie Nause, the team's second AAC Honor Roll member in as many weeks, has recorded a hat trick in each game for a team-high 10 goals (sixth in the AAC), and her 89 for her career is two away from tying for sixth in school history. Alyssa Adams also needs one goal for the 100-milestone after returning for her fifth season in January.

Dani Mlkvy has led the charge in draw-takers for the Bearcats. Ava Goeller has picked up 10, followed by Mlkvy with nine and Sophia Finotti with six.

ON THE ROAD
UC was 2-5 last year, winning 15-11 at Central Michigan on March 14 and scoring with 24 seconds left (Anna Platou, assisted by Peyton Mottice) to win 14-13 at ECU and clinch a spot in the AAC Championships. In this season's lone road game, Kylie Nause earned a first-quarter hat trick before Marquette led a mid-game charge and claim a few six-point leads. Goeller's 44-second hat trick in the fourth quarter brought the Bearcats to within a 16-13 final score.

LAST TIME OUT
Cincinnati fell 20-7 to No. 11 Michigan in its quest for its first ranked win. The Bearcats answered a 34-second goal with one at the 11:58 mark from Kylie Nause, but Michigan scored five in a row to gain control. The Wolverines boasted a 32-24 shots advantage (27-17) on goal.

GARDNER-WEBB HISTORY
UC leads the all-time series 3-0, scoring 20-plus goals in each of the 2017, 2018 and 2019 meetings, the last of which coming against Gardner-Webb's head coach. Those contests account for three of the nine in program history of 20-plus. Monica Borzillo, who owns eight of the nine-best scoring games in school history, had nine in the 2019 meeting. She also matched a school-record six assists in 2017, with that 21-6 win also marking the fifth-highest margin of victory in program history.

Goeller, the Bearcats' second-leading scorer, had four goals on nine shots against Gardner-Webb while with Radford as the Big South's Freshman of the Year last season.

DAVIDSON HISTORY
Cincinnati is 1-1 all-time, falling 11-5 in 2008 and winning 13-10 in 2011. The Wildcats are 3-0 this season, all at home, averaging 13.7 goals per game. Last season, Davidson whipped No. 16 Virginia Tech, 15-8, for its first-ever win over a ranked opponent. Head coach Kim Wayne was the A-10 Coach of the Year last season and led the team to a 6-1 league record last season.
