IRVING, Texas -- The University of Cincinnati lacrosse team's weekend road sweep helped Kylie Nause and Dani Mlkvy earn AAC Attack and Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively, while Ava Goeller was named to the league's Honor Roll on Monday.

It marks the Bearcats' first time in its four-year AAC history it had multiple Players of the Week at the same time.

Mlkvy, a junior out of Berlin, N.J., helped the Bearcats to allow a season-low five goals (and 14 shots) against Akron. She collected 10 draw controls and six ground balls to go with four caused turnovers over the weekend. Both the five goals and 14 shots were opponent-lows since March 7, 2021. For the year, her nine caused turnovers and 14 ground balls lead the team.

Nause is a repeat Attacker of the Week winner and continued her season-long, seven-game hat trick streak in a big way, scoring five goals apiece in the two-game sweep. The Phoenix, Md., native moved into third all-time at UC with 106 goals and 25 hat tricks (her six this year ranks seventh already as well), and she began the week by accounting for an AAC-best 35 percent of her team's goals (and is third in the AAC this year with 3.86 goals per game). Nause had 31 goals last year and 36 as the league's Freshman of the Year in 2019.

Goeller has earned two Honor Roll nods this season and produced her third and fourth hat tricks over the weekend, also adding a career-high two assists to close it out. The sophomore from Bel Air, Md., is second to Nause with 18 goals and 21 points. Defensively, she had nine draw controls (now leading the team with 21) and five ground balls over the weekend sweep.

Cincinnati opens a three-game homestand Wednesday against Louisville (4 p.m.) inside Nippert Stadium.
