CINCINNATI -- Cincinnati sophomore Ava Goeller (Bel Air, Md.) has earned AAC Midfielder of the Week honors following her recent performances.

It is Goeller's first Player of the Week award after making the Honor Roll three times this season. Kylie Nause (twice) and Dani Mlkvy have also earned Attack and Defensive accolades, respectively.

Goeller's four Friday goals marked her sixth-straight hat trick, and eighth overall, as the Bearcats won at Butler. She also dished out four assists, serving as the most points by a Bearcat this season (tying for 10th all-time), accounting for half of UC's tally in the 16-12 decision. She did all of it on seven shots as UC had its highest efficiency of the season (16-29, 55.2 percent).

Combined with two more goals in Sunday's win at Robert Morris, Cincinnati's fifth road win out of its last six, Goeller also added four draw controls, four ground balls and three caused turnovers to complete her weekend.

Goeller, last year's Big South Freshman of the Year at Radford, is second on the team in scoring (34 goals), assists (9) and points (43), draw controls (37) ground balls (19) and caused turnovers (12).

Cincinnati hosts No. 10 Florida at 12 p.m. Sunday to open AAC play. There is also a free youth clinic postgame, with the registration deadline Wednesday.
