CINCINNATI -- The Cincinnati women's golf team's final tournament before the AAC Championships happens to be its closest one, the two-day EKU Colonel Classic in Richmond, Ky.

The Bearcats will compete at the par-72, 5,910-yard Arlington golf course just off campus. Participating teams include Northern Illinois, Cleveland State, North Alabama, Dayton, Akron, Butler and Georgia State.

Katie Hallinan, Sadie Pan, Paighton Masterson, Alexis Daniel and Julia Rabadam will compete on the team's scorecard, while Makenna Jones will play individually.

This course has good memories for the Bearcats from March 29-30, 2021. Hallinan, in her first semester with the team, recorded a 36-hole school record with a 68 and 67, ultimately finishing second with a 3-under 213. Masterson also tied for 17th with a 224. Both her standing and score remain career-bests.

Pan's 77.19 stroke average is second to Hallinan's 75.92 for the team lead. Both Daniel and Rabadam are competing in their sixth tournaments.

UC is coming off a fourth-place finish at the Babs Steffens Invitational in Daytona Beach, its best of the season for standing and score, which included a season-low 300 to close it out. Pan was fifth for her second top-five finish of the season, while Hallinan was second by one stroke for her fourth.
