TicketsCINCINNATI -- Sophomore outfielder Cole Harting was named to the AAC Honor Roll on Monday for his performance in four games this past week. This is his first weekly honor of the season.
Harting went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored in Wednesday's win against Wright State and hit .385 (5-13) overall. His biggest moment of the week came in the fourth inning of Saturday's matchup when he launched a grand slam over the right field fence in UC's 13-3 win over Houston. He ended the series with seven RBIs and four runs scored.
Despite a slow start, Harting has been on fire recently, elevating his batting average to .315 and his OPS to .913. He's the team-leader in runs scored with 31 and is second on the Bearcats with 26 RBIs.
