CINCINNATI – After her new school record in the discus throw at the UF Tom Jones Memorial in Gainesville, Fla. senior Jane Sensibaugh has been named the American Athletic Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week.

Sensibaugh's throw of 55.15m (180' 11") broke the school record by over four feet. Her throw now ranks first in the AAC by a large margin and 20th in the entire nation.  She is ranked seventh in the NCAA East Region, which would put her in a position to qualify for the NCAA Championship meet in the discus throw.

NEXT UP FOR JANE SENSIBAUGH
Sensibaugh will travel to Bloomington, Ind. to compete in the Indiana Invitational alongside the rest of the team this upcoming weekend. She is expected to compete in the discus throw once again to take another shot at breaking her new school record, as well as the shot put and hammer throw.
