PINEHURST, N.C. -- The Cincinnati women's golf team, powered by Sadie Pan's 1-under 71, jumped a spot in the standings after Monday's second round.

The Bearcats adjusted to a nine-hole day after playing 27 Sunday due to inclement weather threats. The 13-stroke improvement was the team's best since the fall-opening Pirate Collegiate Classic, and it was second at the tournament to only Memphis' 19-margin.

Sadie Pan's 71 marked the team's lowest round on the championship stage since Daniela Murcia's 70 to open the 2019 event, where she ultimately tied for 15th. Pan has since moved to ninth ahead of Tuesday's final.

Katie Hallinan also shaved two strokes off with a 75, currently tied for 24th, with Paighton Masterson improving by six strokes for a 77. It was both of their best rounds the title stage.

Tuesday's final round can be followed on Golfstat.com. UC is six strokes back of ECU for the eighth spot.
