TicketsRICHMOND, Ky. -- Sadie Pan improved her score by five strokes in the second round to tie for seventh going into Tuesday's final of the Colonel Classic.
Pan and Hallinan (three strokes) keyed UC to a three-spot jump into sixth as well. Pan's 72 also matched a career-low, set previously in the first round of the Babs Steffens Invitational, the Bearcats' last outing.
UC's 612 tied a season-low 36-hole score, with the 302 in the nightcap just two off another season-low, a 300 at the Babs Steffens.
Pan is seeking back-to-back top-10 finishes after coming in sixth her last time out, while Hallinan is tied for 21st alongside Julia Rabadam (whose 76 in the first was the team's best). Hallinan has five top-20 finishes this year, while Rabadam's top performance was sixth at the Courtney Cole Invite, her fall debut. Paighton Masterson (43rd) and Alexis Daniel (73rd) follow.
