Jean sports a 4.0 GPA in mechanical engineering and became the program's seventh participant in the NCAA Regionals (first since Austin Squires in 2019, fourth under head coach Doug Martin). He carded a 2-under 69 on Tuesday for the only bogey-free round of the field that day, ultimately tying for 45th with a 7-over 220.
Jean, who will return for his fifth COVID year, had five top-10 finishes this season, including winning the Badger Invitational (Sept. 26-28) after helping UC to a team title at the Hoosier Collegiate Invite in the fall opener. He carried a 71.61 stroke average, while his 73.06 stroke average ranks atop the school record book.
Voting amongst collegiate sports information directors for the Academic All-America teams ends Tuesday, with the men's and women's at-large teams announced June 14-15.
