TicketsCINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's golf team wrapped up its season-opening Jennifer Duke Invitational Tuesday at Losantiville Country Club in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Graduate student Katie Hallinan was Cincinnati's top performer, tying for 11th with a score of 228 (+9). She posted a team-best seven birdies.
Freshman Brooke Patterson put together a solid outing on the course, jumping six spots from her opening round score to finish tied for 17th (231).
Junior Paighton Masterson led all golfers with a tournament-high 37 pars. She finished tied for 23rd with a score of 233.
Cincinnati's A lineup finished sixth overall with a team-score of 931. The Bearcats' B lineup was 10th with a score of 968.
Up next, the Bearcats will compete in the Coeur D'Alene Resort Collegiate Invitational on Sept. 18-20, hosted by Gonzaga in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho.
