CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's golf team has announced its schedule for the 2022-23 season, which begins Sept. 12 at home with the Jennifer Duke Invitational.
"We are looking forward to our schedule this year," said head coach Janet Carl. "We have not hosted for several years and we are glad to get started with our home event. The schedule has five new events hosted at some great golf courses. This schedule is our prep work as we get ready to join the Big 12."
The fall schedule kicks off at home with the Jennifer Duke Invitational on Sept. 12-13. The event will take place at the Losantiville Country Club in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The season continues with an exciting trip out west for the Coeur D'Alene Resort Collegiate Invitational, hosted by Gonzaga University in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho (Sept. 18-20).
The rest of the fall schedule includes the Rocket Classic (Toledo, Oct. 10-11), Dayton Flyer Classic (Dayton, Oct. 17-18), Old Stone Invitational (Western Kentucky, Oct. 24-25) and The Judson (Southern Mississippi, Oct. 31-Nov. 1).
An exciting spring schedule kicks off in San Marcos, Texas for the Texas State Invitational on Feb. 6-7. The Bearcats will then head to the SeaBest Classic (Jacksonville University, Feb. 13-14), followed by the Clover Cup (Notre Dame, Mar. 10-12) and Babs Steffens Invitational (Stetson University, Mar. 27-28). The regular season concludes with the Brickyard Classic, hosted by Mercer University on April 10-11.
The American Athletic Conference Championship is set for April 17-19 at the Southern Hills Plantation Club in Brooksville, Fla.
The Bearcats bring back eight letterwinners, including graduate student Katie Hallinan, as well as three juniors and five sophomores. UC also welcomes transfer Paola Rosario and freshman Brooke Patterson to the 2022-23 roster.
