CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics has teamed with the Kroger Wellness Festival to provide Name, Image and Likeness opportunities for every Bearcats' female student-athlete.

The innovative partnership has the women of UC contracted to deliver content to promote the annual Kroger Wellness Festival, and is believed to be the first department-wide NIL deal for female student-athletes.

The public event is held at The Banks in downtown Cincinnati. The two-day festival is designed to raise awareness of Kroger and the products the company offers, while also sharing a vision of physical and mental health for all.

The Bearcats will also host a pep rally, featuring coaches, athletes, band, Bearcat and cheerleaders, at 4 p.m. on Friday at the Johnson and Johnson stage at The Banks. The Cincinnati football team hosts Indiana at 3:30 p.m. at Nippert Stadium on Saturday.

"We are excited to partner with Kroger in providing opportunities for student-athletes," said John Cunningham, Cincinnati Director of Athletics. "We have a shared vision with Kroger on the importance of promoting health, wellness and nutrition to our Cincinnati community. We are looking forward to seeing Bearcats fans at The Banks for our pep rally on Friday!"
