CINCINNATI -- The Cincinnati men's golf team will return to the road following its Bearcat Invitational title for the two-day OldTown Collegiate in Winston-Salem, N.C., on Monday.

The Bearcats will play 36 holes Monday, followed by the final 18 on Tuesday at the par-70, 6,996-yard Old Town Club. UC will trot out its same lineup as the first two tournaments: Ty Gingerich, Sam Jean, William McDonald, Wyatt Plattner and Rylan Wotherspoon, in addition to Ryan Ford competing individually.

"After a couple of great day of practice, I am excited to take this team back on the road at Wake Forest," head coach Doug Martin said. "Old Town is a great golf course and will bring us new challenges. This team continues to show great focus in its preparation each day. With a very young team, it's very important to maintain our push to get better."

UC carded a 7-under 845 to win the Bearcat Invitational on Tuesday by one stroke. Sam Jean rallied from a 72 in the first round, the highest of the team, to light up the scorecard with back-to-back 67s en route to his second title since last fall.

Jean leads the team with a 68.60 stroke average on the young season. Gingerich, second on the team at an even 70.00, tied for second at the Bearcat Invitational to match the strongest finish of his career.

Ford ran strong in his tourney this week as well, going from a 79 to a 74 and eventually a 67. Jean and Gingerich each have 66-stroke rounds so far as well.

Participating teams include Wake Forest, College of Charleston, Georgia Southern, Davidson, Furman, Kansas State, Florida Gulf Coast, Southern Miss, Rutgers and Penn State.
