CINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati volleyball outside hitter Carly Glendinning has been named to the American Athletic Conference weekly honor roll, the league office announced on Monday.
Glendinning, a freshman from Lake St. Louis, Mo., averaged 4.50 kills, 1.25 digs and 0.38 blocks per set in a 1-1 weekend for the Bearcats. She totaled 36 kills with only 10 attacking errors on 90 attempts (.280).
In UC's win over Tulane on Friday, she recorded a match-high 17 kills with only five attacking errors on 40 attempts for an efficient hitting percentage of .300. She was a perfect 13-of-13 on service reception to go along with five digs.
Glendinning followed up the performance with a career-high 19 kills against Houston on Sunday. She hit .280 with only five attacking errors on 50 swings. She added three blocks and five digs to lead the Bearcats.
Cincinnati returns to action for their AAC home opener on Friday night against SMU. First serve is scheduled for 6 p.m. inside Fifth Third Arena.
