Bearcats Return to Action at Rocket Classic

The University of Cincinnati women's golf team returns to action at the Rocket Classic, hosted by Toledo on Monday and Tuesday in Catawba Island, Ohio. The tournament will be played at the par-72, 6,118-yard Catawba Island Club.

CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's golf team returns to action at the Rocket Classic, hosted by Toledo on Monday and Tuesday in Catawba Island, Ohio. The tournament will be played at the par-72, 6,118-yard Catawba Island Club.
 
Along with UC, the field features host Toledo, Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Cleveland State, Ohio, Purdue Fort Wayne and Rutgers.
 
The 54-hole event will begin with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. with 36 holes on Monday. A 9 a.m. shotgun start will be utilized for the final 18 holes on Tuesday.
 
Live scoring will be available at Golfstat.com.
 
Graduate student Katie Hallinan, junior Paola Rosario, freshman Brooke Patterson, junior Sadie Pan and junior Paighton Masterson will make up the Bearcats' lineup. Sophomore Julia Rabadam will compete as an individual.
 
Cincinnati is back in action after three weeks away from competition. Last time out, Hallinan and Rosario led the Bearcats at the Coeur d'Alene Collegiate Invitational (Sept. 18-20), each tying for 24th with a score of 219 (+6).
