CINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati women's basketball hosts their lone exhibition against Wittenberg on Wednesday night inside Fifth Third Arena.
 
The game will tip off at 7 p.m. ET and admission is free.
 
Cincinnati returns 79 percent of its minutes and 66 percent of its scoring production from last year as the Bearcats enter their fifth season under head coach Michelle Clark-Heard.
 
Jillian Hayes is back for her junior campaign after being named to the American Athletic Conference All-Conference Preseason Second Team. The Cincinnati native started all 28 games as a sophomore, averaging 11.5 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 31.7 minutes per game. Hayes finished in double figures in 16 games last season, including 10 conference contests.
 
The Bearcats also welcome in the addition of three newcomers, including Seton Hall transfer Mya Jackson. Jackson started 33 of 34 games last season for the Pirates, finishing with a 37.3 three-point percentage that ranked eighth in the BIG EAST. The Wilmington, Ohio native has converted on at least 37.0 percent from behind the arc each of the last three seasons with the Pirates.
 
Cincinnati welcomes back four players with double-digit starts last season, including sophomore Braylyn Milton. Milton returns after being named to the 2021-22 AAC All-Freshman team, the third Bearcat to be earn the distinction under Clark-Heard.
 
Former Cincinnati associate head coach Melissa Kolbe is in her first season at Wittenberg. Wittenberg finished 19-8 overall, 10-4 in the conference en route to a NCAC Tournament Championship. Jade Simpson is the Tigers' top returning scorer, averaging 9.5 points per game last season.
