HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The University of Cincinnati women's golf team finished strong at The Judson on Tuesday in Hattiesburg, Miss.
The Bearcats shot a tournament-best 292 in the third and final round. It marked the third lowest third-round total on Tuesday. Cincinnati finished seventh overall with a team score of 898. ULM won the team title with a score of 870.
Graduate student Katie Hallinan notched her third top-20 finish of the fall season, tying for 19th with a score of 223. She posted even-par 72s in the first and third rounds to lead the Bearcats.
Junior Paola Rosario put together a strong performance in the second and third rounds to finish tied for 29th with a score of 225. She notched eight birdies over the two-day tournament.
Freshman Brooke Patterson and sophomore Julia Rabadam both jumped five spots from the opening round to place tied for 35th with scores of 227. Both athletes shot season-low 73s in the third round.
Junior Sadie Pan finished with a score of 231 (44th) while sophomore Alexis Daniel, who competed as an individual, posted a score of 241 (59th).
The Bearcats open their spring slate at the Texas State Invitational on Feb. 6-7 in San Marcos, Texas.
