CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati volleyball team begins a four-match road swing at South Florida on Friday in Tampa, Fla. First serve is scheduled for 8 p.m. at The Corral.
The Bearcats will then head to Orlando to take on No. 24-ranked UCF at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
Both matches will be broadcast nationally on ESPN+ and can be followed via live stats.

Cincinnati snapped a three-match losing skid on Sunday with a four-set win over Tulane. The Bearcats earned the season sweep of the Green Wave for the second straight season.
Cincinnati's attacking trio of Shaye Eggleston (18), Carly Glendinning (16) and Abby Walker (11) combined for 45 of UC's 58 kills in the win. Freshman setter Caroline Endres dished out 44 assists to go along with nine digs, three aces and two blocks. She guided UC to a .311 hitting percentage (58-16-135). The Bearcats are 3-0 when they hit above .300 in a match.
Eggleston averaged 3.43 kills and 2.43 digs per set in a 1-1 weekend for the Bearcats. She hit .328 with 24 kills and only five attacking errors on 58 attempts. Redshirt senior Kailea Carrier averaged 1.43 blocks per set and tied her career-high six blocks in the Bearcats' win over Tulane.

Senior Payton Frederick ranks sixth in the AAC in digs per set (3.69) and is averaging 4.00 digs per set in league play. She has led the Bearcats in digs in all but five matches this season. Sophomore Abby Walker sits 10th in the AAC in hitting percentage (.302). She also ranks 10th in hitting percentage (.297) and blocks per set (0.87) in league games only.
In AAC play, freshman Carly Glendinning ranks seventh in kills per set (3.47) and ninth in points per set (3.79).
Freshman setter Caroline Endres sits fifth in the AAC in assists per set with 9.35. She made her return to the Bearcats' lineup last weekend against No. 23 Houston and Tulane.

Eggleston recorded a career-high 18 kills at an impressive .429 hitting percentage in UC's four-set win over Tulane. She put down 12 kills at a .523 hitting percentage in the final two sets. She added 11 digs for her fifth double-double of the season.
The Brentwood, Tenn., native has led the team in kills in four matches this season and has posted 10-plus kills seven times. She leads the team in service aces (24) and ranks second in total digs (218).

Freshmen outside attackers Glendinning and Avry Tatum have stepped up for the Bearcats in conference play, both having earned a spot on the AAC weekly honor roll for their performances.
Glendinning is averaging 3.47 kills per set in AAC play – good for seventh in the league. She has recorded 14 matches in double figures and has led the team in kills six times. Tatum is adding 2.65 kills per set to go along with 0.86 digs per set. She has 12 matches with 10-plus kills, including seven in AAC play.

Cincinnati has won nine straight to own a 29-13 advantage all-time against USF. Earlier this season, the Bearcats dominated the Bulls in a straight-set victory on Oct. 23 in Cincinnati. UC notched 14 service aces in the win – its most aces in a single match since the 2008 season when the Bearcats recorded 16 against Wyoming on Sept. 4, 2008.
Cincinnati is 8-15 overall against UCF. The Knights have won six straight in the series, including a three-set decision on Oct. 21 in Cincinnati. UC will look for its first win over UCF since Nov. 10, 2019, when the Bearcats won in four sets in Orlando, Fla.
