TicketsCINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati women's basketball junior guard Jillian Hayes was named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll on Monday.
This is the second time in her career that she been selected for the weekly distinction.
Hayes averaged a double-double in the three contests last week, posting 15.3 points, 10.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 32.2 minutes per game. She recorded back-to-back double-doubles against Lindenwood and UT Arlington, extending her career total to six. Her three double-doubles on the season is tied for second in the conference and 16th nationally.
The Cincinnati native led the team in scoring in all three games and has finished in double figures in six of seven games this season. Hayes is averaging a team-high 8.7 rebounds per game on 61 total rebounds, which ranks second in the conference and 32nd nationally.
Cincinnati travels to face North Carolina A&T inside Corbett Sports Center on Thursday, Dec. 1 at 6 p.m. ET.
