CINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati volleyball players Carly Glendinning and Abby Walker were named Second Team All-AAC, as announced by the league on Tuesday.

Glendinning, a native of Lake St. Louis, Mo., capped off a dominant freshman campaign where she averaged 2.97 kills, 1.26 digs and 0.30 blocks per set.

The outside hitter registered 16 double-digit kill performances, including a stretch of eight straight to open conference play. She led the team in kills nine times overall and eight times in AAC play.

In league games only, she ranked seventh in kills per set (3.38) and 10th in points per set (3.66). She was one of two freshmen to earn an all-conference distinction.

The 2021 AAC Freshman of the Year ranked ninth in the AAC in hitting percentage (.310). She started and played in every match (30) and set (112) this season.

She was named to the BYU Invitational All-Tournament Team after averaging 2.92 kills and 0.92 blocks per set against three 2022 NCAA Tournament teams. She posted a career-high 23 kills at a .400 clip versus then-No. 10 Pitt.
