CINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati women's basketball junior guard Jillian Hayes was named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll on Monday.
This is the third time this season and the fourth time in her career that she has been selected for the weekly award.
Hayes averaged 12.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.5 blocks and 2.5 steals in 27.3 minutes per game in two contests last week. She finished with 10 points and eight rebounds in a 77-44 win at Ohio. Hayes followed up that performance with 15 points, in addition to a team-high eight rebounds and four assists, in a 99-57 home win over Southern Indiana.
Hayes has now scored in double figures in 11 straight contests, becoming the first Bearcat to reach the mark since I'ImarI Thomas did so in 13 straight games in 2019-20.
Cincinnati will be back in action when the Bearcats travel to take on Northern Kentucky on Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 6 p.m. ET.
