TicketsCINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati redshirt junior infielder Ryan Nicholson was named Preseason All-American Athletic Conference, the league office announced on Wednesday.
Nicholson, a 2022 All-AAC Second Team selection, played in 52 games with 51 starts at first base last season. He hit .277 (53-for-191) with 12 doubles, 12 home runs and 40 RBI.
He was second on the team in doubles (12), home runs (12) and slugging percentage (.529), third in RBI (40) and fifth in hits (53) and runs (41). He had at least one hit in 36 games and recorded 14 multi-hit games.
Nicholson and the Bearcats open the 2023 campaign with a four-game series against Georgia State on Feb. 17-19 in Atlanta, GA.
