TAMPA, Fla. -- David DeJulius scored 16 of his game-high 21 points in the first half, Landers Nolley II scored 16 of his 21 in the second, and the Cincinnati men's basketball team committed only four turnovers in a dominant 85-69 win at South Florida on Wednesday night.

The 16 points was UC's largest margin of victory in a true road game in Wes Miller's two years. The Bearcats have also recorded a 19-point win over Louisville in Maui and 20 points against No. 14 Illinois in Kansas City last season. Cincinnati did not commit a turnover until 13:26 left in the game. Its four matched a season-low and was one off the school record.

UC (14-6, 5-2 AAC) on a 16-3 run over five minutes to lead 20-13 at 9:22, with seven points alone from freshman Dan Skillings Jr. DeJulius added to the early onslaught with seven-straight points, capped off by his trademark, step-back trey to force a Bulls timeout at 6:25, trailing 30-17.

Ultimately, UC would outscore South Florida 43-19 over the last 15 minutes of the half, leading 47-29 to mark its largest intermission margin against a Division I foe this year.

Cincinnati stayed hot to start the second half as DeJulius fed Nolley for a wing 3-pointer on the opening possession. Ody Oguama added two nifty buckets down low as well as the Bearcats carried a 57-36 lead into the 15:51 media timeout. The Bearcats' largest lead came off Kalu Ezikpe's layup at 14:14, upping it to 66-37.

South Florida's 13-2 run forced a UC timeout with 4:51 left, still maintaining a 77-62 advantage. Nolley's floater then kicked off a personal 8-0 run for the fifth-year senior and put the Bulls away.

FROM WES MILLER
"Anytime you can play in Tampa, Florida, and see so many Bearcat fans, it's a beautiful thing. I thought we played really good basketball the first 30 minutes. It's human nature a little bit to relax, and good teams don't do that. I don't think we finished the game the way I'd like, but I'm pleased overall. David DeJulius was phenomenal, and Landers Nolley was very efficient. Mika Adams-Woods did a great job defending Tyler Harris as well."
