CINCINNATI — The University of Cincinnati men's and women's swimming and diving teams have a busy weekend as the teams will compete in two meets in back-to-back days.
The Bearcats will compete inside the Keating Aquatic Center for the final time this season on Friday, Jan. 27, hosting Kentucky in a dual meet. Cincinnati will then be on the road on Saturday, Jan. 28, as they will head to Louisville, K.y., to compete in the team's final dual meet of the season against No. 17/6 Louisville.
UC vs. KENTUCKY (Friday)
Friday's dual meet against Kentucky will begin with the diving portion at 1 p.m., followed by the swimming section at 4 p.m. Fans can follow the action through the Meet Mobile app.
The meet will also be streamed on the Cincinnati Bearcats' YouTube channel. Results will be published on the UC swimming and diving website at the conclusion of the meet. The meet is open to the public, and seating is first come, first served.
UC at LOUISVILLE (Saturday)
Saturday's dual meet against No. 17/6 Louisville will begin at noon inside the Ralph Wright Natatorium. Results will be published on the UC swimming and diving website at the conclusion of the meet.

Kentucky
The Wildcats are coached by Lars Jorgensen, who is in his 10th season as head coach. The Kentucky women are ranked No. 14 in the latest CSCCA poll. In their last dual, the Wildcats women's team recorded their second consecutive dual meet win over a top-10 opponent as they defeated Louisville, while the Wildcat men's team fell short.
The last time UC competed against Kentucky in a dual meet was last season when both Bearcat teams fell to the Wildcats.
Louisville
The Cardinals are coached by Arthur Albiero, who is in his 20th season as head coach. The Louisville men are currently ranked 17th in the latest CSCCA poll, while the women's team is ranked sixth overall. In their last meet, Louisville split their dual meet against Kentucky as the Cardinal men won and the women fell short.
The last time UC competed against Louisville in a dual meet was last season when both Bearcat teams fell to the Cardinals.

The University of Cincinnati men's and women's swimming and diving teams swept crosstown rival Xavier in dominant fashion on Jan. 20.
The Bearcats won 22 events, tying a season-high, as the UC men's team won 197-97, and the UC women's team won 181-106. Cincinnati picked up their second home sweep in a row after accomplishing the feat against Kenyon College on Jan. 13.
Junior Hunter Gubeno was a force inside the Keating Aquatic Center as he won three individual events and was the lead swimmer on the men's 200-yard medley-winning team. The reigning American Athletic Conference Male Swimmer of the Week took first place in the 100-yard backstroke (49.48), 100-yard freestyle (45.59), and the 200-yard individual medley (1:50.71).
Joining Gubeno on the 200-yard medley relay team was fifth-year senior Conner Funke, junior Drew Hawthorne, and freshman Jet Fuhrmann, as they won with a time of 1:30.94.
Both Funke and Hawthorne each picked up an additional event win as well. Funke won the men's 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 56.21 and Hawthorne clocked in at 21.01 seconds to win the men's 50-yard freestyle.
The UC women also claim first in their 200-yard medley relay race as freshmen Grace Gavin, Kaylee Nagel and Joleigh Crye and junior Jessica Davis recorded a time of 1:43.71.
Crye would also take first in the women's 100-yard butterfly (56.83) and Nagel won the women's 100-yard breaststroke (1:04.43).
On the diving side, freshmen Preston Landolt, Alex Givens, and sophomore Will Claus each broke the 300-point mark and qualified for the NCAA Diving Zones. In the men's 1-meter dive, Claus won the event with a score of 304.28 points and Landolt placed second, scoring 300.15 points. Givens won the men's 3-meter diving event with a score of 303.60 points.
