CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's soccer team has announced its five-match spring schedule on Sunday. The slate will feature a pair of road contests and three matches at Gettler Stadium.
The Bearcats open play with a road rivalry contest with Miami (OH) on Saturday, Feb. 25. Cincinnati hosts club team Toronto Blazers for the first of a trio of home matches on Thursday, March 9. The Bizzard is a FC Bayern Munich Partner and a performance academy in Ontario that is set to compete with multiple Division-I programs this spring.
Admission is free for all home contests at Gettler Stadium.
Cincinnati makes the short trip to face Dayton on Saturday, March 25 before closing out the schedule with a couple of home contests, starting with Indiana on Saturday, April. 2. The Bearcats will round out the slate with a home tilt with Butler on Saturday, April 15.
The program enters the spring under the leadership of new head coach Erica Demers and assistant coaches John Robertson and Rachael Collins. Graduate student defender Ashley Barron returns after collecting her third-straight American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year honors.
