// HOW IT HAPPENED
Cincinnati fell behind in the first inning when Florida hit a grand slam against Horst.

The Bearcats got a run back in the top of the second inning. Vidourek notched a two-out single to left field and advanced to second after Josh Hegemann reached first on a wild pitch. Schupmann recorded his first collegiate hit with an RBI double to center field to drive in Vidourek, 4-1.

Brosky inherited the bases loaded with no outs in the bottom of the second and limited the damage with a double play and fly out as the Gators added only one run in the frame, 5-1.

After a scoreless third, Florida extended its advantage to 7-1 with a two-out, two-run homerun in the fourth.

Schupmann stepped up again in the top of the fifth, drawing a leadoff walk. He came around to score thanks to an RBI single to right field by Kerrington Cross. Ryan Nicholson followed with a walk to advance Cross to second base, but the Bearcats left the two stranded to end the inning.

Florida added two runs in the sixth, and three in the seventh to lead 11-2.

JP Sponseller singled with two outs in the top of eighth and advanced to second after Kory Klingenbeck was hit-by-pitch. Vidourek then delivered his second hit of the night with an RBI single to left field but was out at second on the throw to end the frame.

The Gators walked it off with a two-run homerun in the bottom of the eighth for the 13-3 final score.
