SERIES HISTORY
Cincinnati midfielder Grace Jenny played her first three years at Louisville before transferring back to her home state this season. She played in the teams' March 9 contest at Nippert Stadium and started the first four matches this year.

UC has played the Cardinals every year since its inception in 2008 and is seeking its first win. Last year's contest was a 16-9 defeat. Louisville outshot the Bearcats, 30-27, and had one less turnover at 20-19. Kylie Nause had four goals while Ava Goeller scored three times.

ON THE ROAD AGAIN, PART 3
Cincinnati is playing its third-straight road match (which will ultimately be five out of six by mid-March). UC is 2-1 so far in these contests, winning 20-9 at Gardner-Webb and 14-11 at Youngstown State, which was Lauren Ottensmeyer's former school of two years. Six of UC's seven wins last year also came on the road.

LAST TIME OUT
UC won each statistical category, but it ultimately fell to Ohio State on Tuesday, 13-12, in its first overtime battle since 2018. Julie Rose recorded her first-career hat trick after having four goals in 2021 as a freshman and missing all of 2022 due to injury. Camryn Callaghan recorded her sixth-straight hat trick to begin her career, including tying it up with 4:32 left on a behind-the-net assist from Elizabeth Murphy. Ottensmeyer also recorded a hat trick in the first half alone.

MLKVY TAKING CONTROL, LITERALLY
Dani Mlkvy's career-high 14 draw controls at Ohio State were one off the school record, set previously by her sister, Sam, in 2021 against Marquette. Her 9.2 per game leads the AAC. Her 55 this year comes on the heels of having 81 last season, which was third in UC history. The Mlkvy sisters account for four of the top-five such seasons in program history.

FRESHMAN LEADING THE NATION
Camryn Callaghan already raised eyebrows within the program, and now she is the national leader in goals (27) and points (34). The two-time high school All-American has six-straight hat tricks to start her career, including matching the school record of eight against Marquette on Feb. 19, doing it on 10 shots as well. Of the team's five double-digit goal scorers, her 57.4 shot percentage is second to Grace Wehland (11 and 61.1). Wehland and Elizabeth Murphy, last year's leader in assists, share the team lead with eight.
