Fans at Tuesday's match can be treated to several pancake-themed opportunities, including a pancake Bar with toppings (while supplies last). Other additions include a variety of prizes from Flip'd by IHOP, pancake trivia, contests and more.
SERIES HISTORY
The Wildcats got the best of the Bearcats on Feb. 27, 2022, unleashing an 8-0 run in the third quarter for a 15-4 win on a cold, rainy Sunday afternoon. Davidson held a 30-18 shots advantage as well. The teams previously split in 2008 and 2011. Davidson this year is 4-0 on the road after a school-record 13 wins last season.
LAST TIME OUT
The Bearcats' Friday matchup at Louisville was postponed due to weather. UC won each statistical category, but it ultimately fell to Ohio State on Tuesday, 13-12, in its first overtime battle since 2018. Julie Rose recorded her first-career hat trick after having four goals in 2021 as a freshman and missing all of 2022 due to injury. Camryn Callaghan recorded her sixth-straight hat trick to begin her career, including tying it up with 4:32 left on a behind-the-net assist from Elizabeth Murphy. Ottensmeyer also recorded a hat trick in the first half alone.
MLKVY TAKING CONTROL, LITERALLY
Dani Mlkvy's career-high 14 draw controls at Ohio State were one off the school record, set previously by her sister, Sam, in 2021 against Marquette. Her 9.2 per game leads the AAC. Her 55 this year comes on the heels of having 81 last season, which was third in UC history. The Mlkvy sisters account for four of the top-five such seasons in program history.
FRESHMAN LEADING THE NATION
Camryn Callaghan already raised eyebrows within the program, and now she is third nationally in goals and points per game. The two-time high school All-American has six-straight hat tricks to start her career, including matching the school record of eight against Marquette on Feb. 19, doing it on 10 shots as well. Of the team's five double-digit goal scorers, her 57.4 shot percentage is second to Grace Wehland (11 and 61.1). Wehland and Elizabeth Murphy, last year's leader in assists, share the team lead with eight.
This week, Callaghan earned her third AAC Freshman of the Week honor out of four possible week.
