SERIES HISTORY
Temple leads the all-time battle 8-2, with both of Cincinnati's wins coming in 2019 (UC's winningest season, 12). The latter came in the second round of the inaugural AAC Championships at Sheakley Field. The Owls have since claimed the last three meetings by a combined eight goals.

Temple scored three times over the final four minutes to stave off any Cincinnati rally in a 14-10 defeat. Despite those three-straight draw controls, UC won the battle 16-11 on the day, but a 14-4 deficit in free-position opportunities did not help matters.

The teams' only mutual opponent so far is Ohio State, with both falling by one goal in Columbus early in the season. Temple most recently outscored No. 5 JMU, 5-0, in the fourth quarter to fall 10-8 in its AAC opener.

CALLAGHAN'S SCORING MARK
Camryn Callaghan enters the day third nationally with 44 goals, trailing only First-Team All-American Izzy Scane (Northwestern) and Jill Smith (Michigan) while holding a 10-goal lead over the next-closest freshman, Army's Brigid Duffy.

Callaghan is tied with Ava Goeller's 2022 mark for fifth in single-season school history, with Kylie Nause also setting the record last year of 63. Her 10 hat tricks (out of 12 matches) rank fourth as well.

NEW OFFENSIVE FOLDS
Cincinnati has been without Elizabeth Murphy since the March 7 Davidson win, and she was the team-leader last season with 20 assists. Goeller has since stepped up with a team-high 15, matching her total for all of 2022, and Kylie Gioia follows with 10 after having six as a true freshman.

MLKVY CHASING HISTORY
Senior Dani Mlkvy is only 10 draw controls away from matching her sister, Sam, for the most in single-season school history at 97, and with at least five games to go. Mlkvy also leads UC with 15 caused turnovers, just ahead of Sophia Finotti's 13. The duo have also been instrumental in UC allowing its fewest shots per game (24.7) since 2016.

WEEKLY HONORS
Callaghan most recently earned her league-leading fourth Freshman of the Week honor. Finotti previously claimed the league's Defensive POTW accolade for the first time of her career. She posted four caused turnovers and five ground balls in the Butler win. Ava Goeller has twice earned Midfielder honors while Grace Wehland took an Attacker one as well.

HOME COOKING
Cincinnati is 5-1 at home after earning only one of its seven 2022 wins in Nippert Stadium. The Bearcats' only loss was 19-13 to Marquette on Feb. 19, where the squad trailed by one midway through the fourth quarter before the Golden Eagles scored the final five in a row. UC's last two home wins over Vanderbilt and Butler came by a combined 36-9.
